Russia and China increase military ties

The Russian Federation And the People's republic of China are joining together and increasing their military ties. This comes directly from new Russian President Vladimir Putin. The idea of increasing military ties and influence with China comes after The United States has made a pledge to increase its naval presence in the Asian / Pacific waters. Vladimir Putin met with Chinese president Hu Jintao discussed joint naval operations that were held in the Yellow Sea. They were first time naval exercises of its kind between Russia and China, and is stated by both presidents will continue with more of the kind. Both Presidents feel as if the security in the region would be more secure with both countries operating in it.

"China views an increased US military presence in the Asia-Pacific as a challenge to its own sovereignty and an attempt by America to curtail the country’s rise.

"China is Russia's strategic partner. We enjoy mutually beneficial, mutually trusting, open cooperation in all fields,"said Putin."

 This is a significant issue because it is another big step in Russia and China becoming closer allies. Russia and China both rank behind America in strongest military in the the world. The significance of this is world power. China has as much influence on the United States as the United States does on itself. Now teaming up with a country with very rocky history with the U.S. - Russia, is not a very good thing for America. The United States looks to influence all sorts of countries with its power. Now having a larger and stronger group - Russia and China, alone in Asia to cause influence, it may slowly overtime shift the balance of power in the Eastern Hemispheres favor. Both Russia and China have big influences on the countries around them as geographically and population based they are big countries. There always has been and will be a full out war fear between America and Russia. Now throw china into the mix, and the fear that ultra nationalist ideas may prosper and cause problems for the U.S. influence in Asia. This bonding of military ties could really be nothing, but there is always chances it turns into something bigger, and it is something for all countries to keep an eye on. China and Russia feel as though their countries safety could be breached so they will do everything to keep themselves comfortable. More naval exercises are scheduled for later in the month through out the rest of the year.

Earth's Biodiversity Drops

The world's biodiversity is being cut down to a percentage of 30 since the 1970s which was recorded by the Tropical Species taking the biggest hit and if that humanity continues to keep it up it will be making the picture bleaker. Humanity is now outstripping the Earth's resource by a percentage of 50 and is now essentially using the resources of one and a half earths every year according to a study made by Living Plant Report and being produced by a conversation agency of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). "We're emptying the fridge, we're not really taking care of the lawn,"

Grandpa Attacks Umpire

An Alabama Softball youth group led to a felony charge in what they might think a grandfather had done to a 55 year old man which he attacked him since it was his grandchild's softball game. It has been reported that at Mt.Olive ballpark, the local baseball field after a game spent heckling the official umpire, the grandfather had taken matters into his own hands by attacking  the umpire in the parking lot outside the ballpark proceeding to punch him in the face and leave him with a bloody nose. "A bloody nose most of the time will get you a misdemeanor, and that's wrong, but yeah, there's a law on the books that if you assault an official its a felony.

Olympic Player Loses 25 Pounds

Gold medal gymnast Shawn Johnson gained and then had lost 25 pounds during her three-year break from international competition which she told reporters on Monday. The 20-year old had won three silver medals and one gold in Beijing and is now attempting a come back for London and has been discussing the weight gain and her subsequent body image problems at the USOC media summit on Monday. She said her major weight had led to hurtful comments in magazines and tabloids. "That whole process kind of broke me down and taught me something," she said, but had made her change for the better making her lose over 20 pounds.

Trayvon Martin Family Urge to Have Peace on L.A. Race Riots

Marking the 20th anniversary of a deadly riot that had been engulfed in Los Angeles following the 1992 Rodney King case with civil rights activist Al sharpton and Trayvon Martin's parents that they are urging events of peace directed toward civil rights movement. Sharpton had reported to speak at Yahoo News before he had talked to a church on Thursday night. "Twenty years ago I came out here after that protest after the verdict and tried to discourage the violence, and 20 years later now I'm here with Trayvon's parents and we're saying we don't want violence," Sharpton had commented at Yahoo News interview. After the occurence of four white police officers were acquitted in a record beating on April 29 with Rodney King, which the city exploded into one of the deadliest riots in American History, which had been left withover 50 people dead and causing a record damage cost of $1 billlion dollars in property damage. Sharpton is now hosting a show on MSNBC and had said that much change since then, and he does not expect a racial charge in a debate over Martin's shooting to already end in a violent manner to Zimmerman who is Hispanic making it acquitted. "I think even though people are angry and as concerned as I am, we don't feel like we have no options," Sharpton mentioned. Sharpton had also mentioned that "Unlike [with] Rodney King, there's defined leadership in Trayvon Martin's case who have said from the beginning we cannot have violence.". Zimmerman had been a neighborhood watch captain in a gated middle-class community insanford, Florida and had shot an unarmed 17-year-old holding a bag of skittles after calling the cops saying that he had done it in self defense with suspicion. Zimmerman had said that he shot him in self defence even though Trayvon should not even be in a gated community. Zimmerman's defender had said he suspected martin of being suspicious because he had been in a string of robberies that had occured in their neighborhood. (A recent quote from the black neighborhood defender himself for finding Martin suspicious because suspects in previous robberies were young black men. She declined to be named because she feared retaliation.) "If Trayvon Martin had not been black then they would have had taken his killing a lot more seriously at the police station," he says. "If the police had arrested Zimmerman that night there would not be a Trayvon Martin case or movement...Does it mean he's guilty? No. But it does mean that he should have to go in front of a court of law and not be acquitted in the back of a police station.". In my opinion Zimmerman should be arrested 25 to life because everyone is making a big deal out of it, capture one to save many.

Anders Brievik Trial

Anders Behring Brievik, the notorious mass murderer who claims responsibility for the 77 deaths in twin terrorist attacks in July 2011 is currently on trial in Norway for his crimes. Anders is responsible for a road side bomb infront of the Norweigian parliament building that killed 8 people and injured dozens more. Anders is also responsible for the shooting on Utoya island. A Youth group movement was on the island in the summer of 2011. Anders, dressed like a police officer took a boat to the island and using a Ruger mini rifle proceeded to hunt down and kill 69 children, young teens and several adults. He would approach people who heard gunshots and claim to be a police officer to help and once he earned their trust he would kill them. It took 90 minutes for SWAT to respond to the scene where Anders surrendered without fight. Almost a year later Anders is now on trial for the crimes.In an emotional day of trial, he recollects the voices in his head telling him to not do this. Anders also explains how he methodically executed people of the Youth Labor movement. By the end of the trial it is expected that anders will receive the maximum sentence in Norway of 21 years- because the country does not carry life in prison laws or death penalties. Anders tried to plead insanity but after psychological testing it was found he was sane and fit for trial and punishment.

Anders is a Christain who had massive fears about Norway hiding a muslim invasion and he decided to take the law into his own hands and kill the "muslims" and also decided he was going to try and decapitate the former 2008 Norweigian Prime Minister on Utoya island as a message to everyone in the Norweigian Government. Anders also had plans to destroy two more buildings with car bombings. He wanted to attack the Norway government headquarters, and also attack another youth headquarters. Both attempts failed, Anders stated if he was to have succesfully blown up both buildings he would not have went to the island and killed all the innocent people. But because the plan had failed he said he had to "make a point" and take to the island and kill everyone. Anders also stated if norwegian media had not blocked out images of muslim attacks in local areas just for the sake of re-electing the prime minister he would not have contemplated as much destruction.

Russian T-50 plane

Russia's brand new T-50 fighter jet will be ready to be deployed in the next two years and is stated to be one of the most advance jets in the world. The T-50 Fighter is an upper 5th generation aircraft armed to the teeth with state of the art missile systems, radar systems and anti-missile systems." Putin promised that by the next MAKS 2013 the headquarters of Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation would be transferred to this center together with other aviation industry institutions.
On Wednesday the air show was attended by over 20,000 specialists, scientists, businessmen and state officials.
Security is being provided by some 1,800 law enforcement officers"
