South Korea lights christmas trees.

The nation of South Korea is lighting 3 massive christmas trees on an outpost that can easily be seen in North Korea despite North Korean governments statement of there being unexpecting consequences if the trees are lit. The South Korean Government went ahead and put up the trees at the request of evangelical christian groups. The trees will be lit for two weeks starting December 23rd. The first time the trees were lit was in 2010. The North Koreans claim that the lighting of the trees is to try and spread christianity into the country. The trees are lit at the demilitarized zone on the east and central parts. 107
