Iran sends troops to Syria

Iran is sending 15,000 special operations troops to the country of Syria to help keep the regime in place. Syrian president Bashir-Assad announced that Iranian troops would be deployed in the country to help maintain the peace in the nation that is currently falling apart. This was first reported in a Chinese newspaper before going global. A majority of the troops will be deployed in Homs, the third largest city in Syria, which is currently undergoing a small war between Pro Regime security forces and rebel gangs. 110 people were killed in the fights on thursday. Iran is denieing that any soldiers will be sent.
