A Michigan boy that is 11 years of age had described being buried alive for nearly 30 minutes under a hill of sand and has said it was thoughts of his family that carried him through. Nicholas Nelson had been digging in a sand pit with his older brother outside of his home in Michigan about 25 miles from Grand Rapids, on Sunday when one of the tunnels the boys were digging had collapsed on him, has been said by Ionia County authorities. The frantic emergancy called that was made the older brother Kyle as his brother was buried underneath nearly a foot of sand and had been a life-and-death situation that followed."Me and my brother were digging in a sandpit and it collapsed and my brother is stuck under there now," Kyle said to the dispatcher. "I tried to get him out, but I couldn't dig fast enough."
