Wikipedia, an online website most known for its vast amounts of user-submitted and sourced information is going to shutdown for 24 hours in a strike against the SOPA wanting to be enacted by the government. SOPA, or Stop online privacy act is a very controversial bill that congress wants to pass restricting what people can or can not say on the internet, it will be taking away first ammendment rights for internet users. Online groups such as anonymous and website giants such as Reddit and Wikipediaare doing what they can to gain support to have the act turned down.
