Moscow and Washington have stopped talks about the removal of the European Missile Shield mainly because Russia feels threatened by it while America claims it is not pointed at them. When calls for the shield to be removed have been denied, Russia has taken a step to arm it self to the teeth in defenses. Russia plans to develop a counter for the missile shield that is relatively cheap but extremely effective. This angers the U.S. and begins to create more tension between the two nations that have been slowly trying to rebuild ties under the Obama Administration. But these ties have been broken under the creation of the European Missile shield, a suppose missile system that is supposed to protect Europe from middle eastern weapons, but Russia feels like it is aimed towards it. Russia has requested documented legal protection from the missile system but the U.S will not do it so Russia is taking matters in to its own hands.
