Obama sends US troops to Central Africa.

President Obama has deployed 100 military "advisors" to Central Africa to help remove Joseph Koney, leader of the Lord's Resistance Army and other high ranking officials off the battlefield. The soldiers are placed to inform give advice and train partner nations and are not there for offensive purposes. The LRA is responsible for tens of thousands of rape, murder, and torture cases in the past 20 years. The LRA operates in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Sudan and Uganda. Points have been made by Ron Paul that we spend too much money on military because we have 900 bases around the world and are in 130 countries. "we are going broke" he says and is against the deployment of troops in Africa because it is more of a waste of money.
