The earths population has reached 7 billion people as of October 31st. This has bought about discussion as to wether or not to colonize another planet such as Mars. The worlds population is supposed to exceed 10 billion people within the next 2 decades, giving question as to wether or not Earths finite resources can sustain human life much longer. Already there have been simulated missions such as the Mars 500 that simulates a travel to mars. The crew from Russia is currently concealed in the capsule for 18 months with cameras watching their every movement, monitoring how they are reacting. Young teenagers have began training in hope to one day be a cosmonaut that explores a new planet such as mars or the moons of jupiter.
