Russia and China increase military ties

The Russian Federation And the People's republic of China are joining together and increasing their military ties. This comes directly from new Russian President Vladimir Putin. The idea of increasing military ties and influence with China comes after The United States has made a pledge to increase its naval presence in the Asian / Pacific waters. Vladimir Putin met with Chinese president Hu Jintao discussed joint naval operations that were held in the Yellow Sea. They were first time naval exercises of its kind between Russia and China, and is stated by both presidents will continue with more of the kind. Both Presidents feel as if the security in the region would be more secure with both countries operating in it.

"China views an increased US military presence in the Asia-Pacific as a challenge to its own sovereignty and an attempt by America to curtail the country’s rise.

"China is Russia's strategic partner. We enjoy mutually beneficial, mutually trusting, open cooperation in all fields,"said Putin."

 This is a significant issue because it is another big step in Russia and China becoming closer allies. Russia and China both rank behind America in strongest military in the the world. The significance of this is world power. China has as much influence on the United States as the United States does on itself. Now teaming up with a country with very rocky history with the U.S. - Russia, is not a very good thing for America. The United States looks to influence all sorts of countries with its power. Now having a larger and stronger group - Russia and China, alone in Asia to cause influence, it may slowly overtime shift the balance of power in the Eastern Hemispheres favor. Both Russia and China have big influences on the countries around them as geographically and population based they are big countries. There always has been and will be a full out war fear between America and Russia. Now throw china into the mix, and the fear that ultra nationalist ideas may prosper and cause problems for the U.S. influence in Asia. This bonding of military ties could really be nothing, but there is always chances it turns into something bigger, and it is something for all countries to keep an eye on. China and Russia feel as though their countries safety could be breached so they will do everything to keep themselves comfortable. Earth's Biodiversity Drops

The world's biodiversity is being cut down to a percentage of 30 since the 1970s which was recorded by the Tropical Species taking the biggest hit and if that humanity continues to keep it up it will be making the picture bleaker. Grandpa Attacks Umpire

An Alabama Softball youth group led to a felony charge in what they might think a grandfather had done to a 55 year old man which he attacked him since it was his grandchild's softball game. It has been reported that at Mt.Olive ballpark, the local baseball field after a game spent heckling the official umpire, the grandfather had taken matters into his own hands by attacking  the umpire in the parking lot outside the ballpark proceeding to punch him in the face and leave him with a bloody nose. "A bloody nose most of the time will get you a misdemeanor, and that's wrong, but yeah, there's a law on the books that if you assault an official its a felony.

Olympic Player Loses 25 Pounds

Gold medal gymnast Shawn Johnson gained and then had lost 25 pounds during her three-year break from international competition which she told reporters on Monday. The 20-year old had won three silver medals and one gold in Beijing and is now attempting a come back for London and has been discussing the weight gain and her subsequent body image problems at the USOC media summit on Monday. She said her major weight had led to hurtful comments in magazines and tabloids. "That whole process kind of broke me down and taught me something," she said, but had made her change for the better making her lose over 20 pounds.

Trayvon Martin Family Urge to Have Peace on L.A. Race Riots

Marking the 20th anniversary of a deadly riot that had been engulfed in Los Angeles following the 1992 Rodney King case with civil rights activist Al sharpton and Trayvon Martin's parents that they are urging events of peace directed toward civil rights movement. Sharpton had reported to speak at Yahoo News before he had talked to a church on Thursday night. "Twenty years ago I came out here after that protest after the verdict and tried to discourage the violence, and 20 years later now I'm here with Trayvon's parents and we're saying we don't want violence," Sharpton had commented at Yahoo News interview. After the occurence of four white police officers were acquitted in a record beating on April 29 with Rodney King, which the city exploded into one of the deadliest riots in American History, which had been left withover 50 people dead and causing a record damage cost of $1 billlion dollars in property damage. Sharpton is now hosting a show on MSNBC and had said that much change since then, and he does not expect a racial charge in a debate over Martin's shooting to already end in a violent manner to Zimmerman who is Hispanic making it acquitted. "I think even though people are angry and as concerned as I am, we don't feel like we have no options," Sharpton mentioned. Sharpton had also mentioned that "Unlike [with] Rodney King, there's defined leadership in Trayvon Martin's case who have said from the beginning we cannot have violence.". Zimmerman had been a neighborhood watch captain in a gated middle-class community insanford, Florida and had shot an unarmed 17-year-old holding a bag of skittles after calling the cops saying that he had done it in self defense with suspicion. Zimmerman had said that he shot him in self defence even though Trayvon should not even be in a gated community. Zimmerman's defender had said he suspected martin of being suspicious because he had been in a string of robberies that had occured in their neighborhood. (A recent quote from the black neighborhood defender himself for finding Martin suspicious because suspects in previous robberies were young black men. She declined to be named because she feared retaliation.) "If Trayvon Martin had not been black then they would have had taken his killing a lot more seriously at the police station," he says. "If the police had arrested Zimmerman that night there would not be a Trayvon Martin case or movement...Does it mean he's guilty? No. But it does mean that he should have to go in front of a court of law and not be acquitted in the back of a police station.". In my opinion Zimmerman should be arrested 25 to life because everyone is making a big deal out of it, capture one to save many.

Anders Brievik Trial

Anders Behring Brievik, the notorious mass murderer who claims responsibility for the 77 deaths in twin terrorist attacks in July 2011 is currently on trial in Norway for his crimes. Anders is responsible for a road side bomb infront of the Norweigian parliament building that killed 8 people and injured dozens more. Anders is also responsible for the shooting on Utoya island. A Youth group movement was on the island in the summer of 2011. Anders, dressed like a police officer took a boat to the island and using a Ruger mini rifle proceeded to hunt down and kill 69 children, young teens and several adults. He would approach people who heard gunshots and claim to be a police officer to help and once he earned their trust he would kill them. It took 90 minutes for SWAT to respond to the scene where Anders surrendered without fight. Almost a year later Anders is now on trial for the crimes.In an emotional day of trial, he recollects the voices in his head telling him to not do this. Anders also explains how he methodically executed people of the Youth Labor movement. By the end of the trial it is expected that anders will receive the maximum sentence in Norway of 21 years- because the country does not carry life in prison laws or death penalties. Anders tried to plead insanity but after psychological testing it was found he was sane and fit for trial and punishment.

Anders is a Christain who had massive fears about Norway hiding a muslim invasion and he decided to take the law into his own hands and kill the "muslims" and also decided he was going to try and decapitate the former 2008 Norweigian Prime Minister on Utoya island as a message to everyone in the Norweigian Government. Anders also had plans to destroy two more buildings with car bombings. He wanted to attack the Norway government headquarters, and also attack another youth headquarters. Both attempts failed, Anders stated if he was to have succesfully blown up both buildings he would not have went to the island and killed all the innocent people. But because the plan had failed he said he had to "make a point" and take to the island and kill everyone. Anders also stated if norwegian media had not blocked out images of muslim attacks in local areas just for the sake of re-electing the prime minister he would not have contemplated as much destruction.

Russia's brand new T-50 fighter jet will be ready to be deployed in the next two years and is stated to be one of the most advance jets in the world. The T-50 Fighter is an upper 5th generation aircraft armed to the teeth with state of the art missile systems, radar systems and anti-missile systems." Putin promised that by the next MAKS 2013 the headquarters of Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation would be transferred to this center together with other aviation industry institutions.

Russian T90MS

Russian T90MS "Flying  Tank" has been revealed in India at a demonstration and seminar for Indian military officials. "The T-90MS is the latest modification of the combat vehicle dubbed the “flying tank”. It has a new turret with the Kalina modernized targeting system, which is integrated with the squad commander’s control system.  Also on board are an upgraded 2A46M-5 cannon and a new air defense machine gun." George Zimmerman's Father Speaks Out

George Zimmerman's father (Robert Zimmerman) spoke out today to the Orlando television station WOFL that Trayvon Martin had started to threaten his son to kill him, then had started to fight him and beat him up onto the ground which was right before Zimmerman had shot and killed Trayvon Martin on February 26th. "It's my understanding that Trayvon Martin got on top of him and just started beating him," Zimmerman's father had mentioned also that Trayvon had said to him that he was going to die now and, or that he was going to die tonight. Syrian Violence Had Killed 22 as Arab Leader Backs Peace Plan

Most of the violence in Syria had killed over the amount of 20 people which had mostly been civilians, as the Arabic leaders in Baghdad backed a peace plan up during the rise of the focusing on resolving the year-long Syrian crisis. The Syrian rights activist had mentioned that some forces loyal to the president Bashar al-Assad had murdered 16 civilians in an attempt to assault any opposition hubs in central Syria and the province which is northern of Idlib on Thursday. These activists had also mentioned that rebels killed two soldiers in an ambush in the province of Hama. In other violence, two "terrorists" had been shot and killed in the city of Aleppo.

Students in the High School of Dunkerton, Iowa were expecting a common assembly about bullying and making good choice, but instead had got a Christian rap/ hard rock band called Junkyard Prophet and were delivering a anti-gay and anti-abortion rant. The La Crosse Tribune had stated, after the band performed they separated the girls, boys, and teacher into Breakout groups that reveal emotions that people dont usually see.  "They told my daughter, the girls, that they were going to have mud on their wedding dresses if they weren't virgins," had been mentioned by Jennifer Littlefield, whose daughter that is 16 years old, Alivia called her in tears after the event. This assembly was out of the ordinary and indifferent to the usual common assembly's which is meant to beat into your head that bullying is bad, and that this was a twist on that and had caught attention from most of the students.

Boy Describes Being Buried for 30 Minutes

A Michigan boy that is 11 years of age had described being buried alive for nearly 30 minutes under a hill of sand and has said it was thoughts of his family that carried him through. Nicholas Nelson had been digging in a sand pit with his older brother outside of his home in Michigan about 25 miles from Grand Rapids, on Sunday when one of the tunnels the boys were digging had collapsed on him, has been said by Ionia County authorities. The frantic emergancy called that was made the older brother Kyle as his brother was buried underneath nearly a foot of sand and had been a life-and-death situation that followed."Me and my brother were digging in a sandpit and it collapsed and my brother is stuck under there now," Kyle said to the dispatcher.  "I tried to get him out, but I couldn't dig fast enough."

The new name of the Nike sneaker "Tan and Black" has been getting negative attention from Ireland. This popular footwear company has accidentally insulted the Irish while trying to honor the country which is leading up to St. Patrick's Day. Emails From Dead Friends Account

Jack Froese was 32 and had died of a heart problem called arrhythmia in lat jun of 2011, he had left behind many grieving friends and family members. BBC reports that several mysterious emails from Froese's account and brought some happiness and closure to those that were close to him. Five months later multiple friends of Jack Froese had received an email from Froese's account. One of his friends had got an email from Froese saying"I'm Watching." but the text message had said "Did you hear me? I'm at your house. Clean your f***ing attic!!!". Jacks friend Hart had said afterwards that they had, had a private conversation in Hart's attic, during which Froese had stated to Hart that he had a messy attic. "Just he and I up there. That's it," Hart mentioned.

Son gets killed trying to help his mom

In this article, they state that an eleven-year-old boy was killed trying to help his mother while she was arguing with her boyfriend. She had pulled over on the side of an interstate in West Virginia. Her boyfriend punched her in the face, and then dragged her out of the car once she pulled over. Her son got out of the car to try to get another vehicles attention to pull over and help, but the car didn't see him standing there. The car hit him and he was in the hospital overnight. He had died the next day later. The people driving that car are not being charged with anything. But her boyfriend, that caused all this to happen, is being charged with child neglect causing injury. He is being held on $ 100,000 bond. Jail records did not indicate whether he had an attorney.

Vladimir Putin was set to win a third presidential term and has declared his victory and thanked his voters for their timely support throughout the whole term. polling at almost 62% with atleast almost all of the votes counted and the vitory had seemes assured. "We have won in an open and fair struggle," Putin said, which had been addressing over 110,00 people gathered on manezhnaya square outside the walls of Kremlin. Putin had said that his victory signals the defeat for those who had wanted to destroy Russia. “This was more than just a presidential election. This was a very important test for us – a test for the political maturity of our people and independence." Putin had said.

Russian defense sector

"The defense sector will become more competitive by 2020,” Rogozin announced on Thursday. “It will unite about 40 large research and production companies capable of development, asset management and active positioning [of Russian defense products] on Russian and international markets." The statement by Rogozin was on the topic of uniting many of Russia's defense corporations to co-develop more powerful weaponry for Russia and it's allies' use. Russia's military and defense sectors surpass the civilian sector in economic growth by 1.3%. Another statement by Rogozin was that they would not be light on people found guilty of corruption in the defense sector and would be heavily punished as Russia suffers from mass amounts of corruption as it is a not entirely stable country.

Russia to render missile shield "useless"

Russian President and Supreme Commander of the Russian Armed Forces Dmitri Medvedev has stated that if Russia is not allowed to partake in the European Missile Shield, it would render the missile system "useless." This comes after some tension between Russia and the United States after the U.S. planted a missile defense system to protect Europe from growing threats in the middle east. Russian objects this idea until it has legal guarantee that the missile defense is not pointed at Russia's nuclear capabilities. The U.S. has denied any legal contracts and has caused Russia to rearm it's nuclear and missile forces 30% from where they stood before the missile system was added to Europe. “This does not mean a confrontation, this means only one thing – we cannot remain indifferent to their plans because they touch upon our strategic interests, this is why I had to make this statement,” Medvedev told the military referring to his address to the Federal Assembly in which he for the first time announced the plans to counter the proposed missile defense shield.

New AK Rifle created.

The creator of the Ak-47, Mikhail Kalashnikov has came up with a new idea for an AK rifle. The AK-2012, or the AK-12 is a newly innovated version of the AK-47, the worlds most notorious rifle and popular sold weapon in history. The AK-12, revamped and almost ready to replace the AK-47, has been in production for several months now and a final prototype has been created. Plans are for the weapon to be mass produced and distributed to the Russian military by the end of 2012. The AK-2012 is redesigned to be able to use different types of magazines and rounds of ammunition on the spot. Iran suicide boats

The country of Iran is increasing its Naval power by adding dozens of`small fast speedboats filled with explosives for suicide runs. They plan on driving the speedboat into sides of U.S naval ships and blowing holes in them to flood it. This is reminder of old Al-Qaeda tactics in using speedboats to ram ships back in 2000. Spy swap 50 year anniversary

50 Years ago today there was a spy swap between the USSR and The United States that would become a key point in the war. Gary Powers, the man who was shot down in a U-2 spy plane May 1st 1960 while taking pictures of Soviet Nuclear Facilities and uranium enrichment sites across siberia. Iran sends troops to Syria

Iran is sending 15,000 special operations troops to the country of Syria to help keep the regime in place. Syrian president Bashir-Assad announced that Iranian troops would be deployed in the country to help maintain the peace in the nation that is currently falling apart. The Israeli military has launched airstrikes on the Gaza strip, a controversial piece of land with the palestinians and injured two palestinians. Governmental authorities have shutdown media file sharing giant Megaupload last night. The music and media industry has lost close to $500 million because of the piracy on the website and simultaneous raids were carried out at 10 houses in 9 countries to arrest the websites creators and accomplices. This came only a day after websites such as Wikipedia blacked itself out in retaliation for the SOPA and PIPA acts trying to be passed by congress. The media sharing giant is amongst one of the most visited websites in the world, coming in at 14, and receiving closed to 1 billion hits a day in total with somewhat close to 600 million downloads and uploads a day. The owners of the websites will be sent to court next monday and indicted on charges of money laundering, racketeering and piracy.

Anonymous, the internet hacktivist group that has given the government trouble for its unconstitutional acts in the past was at it again last night after the government shut down megaupload. Congress has indefinitely postponed the PIPA and SOPA bill legislation until furthur notice. Congress is going to revise the bill and try to find a fair and happy median between internet users and the entertainment industry. Spy who saved Country leaders dies.

The legendary spy who saved the lives of Josef Stalin, Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt has passed away at the age of 87. In 1943 during the Tehran, Gevork Vartanyan was incharge of a Soviet spy group that uncovered the location of 400 german spies placed in Tehran and uncovered the hiding spot of 7 Nazi commandos that were planning an attack on the big three. Gevork's men captured and killed the Nazi spies. The operation labeled long jump went succesful and was kept under wraps until the 1960's when it was declassified. Troops moved to Israel

Thousands of American soldiers have been moved into Israel, makng critics believe that an all out war is on the brink as Iran builds up nuclear weapons, and Israel and the United States amass arms. It has not been made big in the media but somewhere closed to 5,000 troops have been moved from stationed bases in the middle east to Israel. Another 15,000 marines have been stationed around the straight of hormuz, where tensions have been rising as Iran has threatened to cut off movement in the area, leaving 1/6 the worlds supply of oil stranded from passing.

Israel and US Post pone missile drill

The United States and the country of Israel of postponed a joint missile test and training drill amongst growing tentions between Iran, the US, and Israel. Benjamin Natanyahu and President Barack Obama have both stated that the drill was not cancelled due to growing tensions with Iran. The drill would allow America to test its THAAD missiles along side the Israeli Aegis wing ship based missile system and allow both Iron, Arrow, and Patriot missiles to be fired from Israeli ships, thus increasing their arsenal.

Costa Concordia wreck

An Italian Cruise ship has sunk and the fight to find survivors has been underway for several days now. The Costa Concordia capsized shortly after departure leaving numerous dead and missing. Viral videos have been released showing people jumping off the boat and managing to escape before being dragged under by the massive cruise liners weight. 11 people have been killed, and just today 5 more were found dead, all in their 50's or 60's. There was 3200 people aboard the ship and most were rescued while divers and helicopters rush to find somewhat 200 people unaccounted for.

Reddit to shut down over SOPA

Reddit, an online website commonly known for its user uploaded content and controversial leaks is going to shut down over SOPA. The Stop online privacy act is an act looking to be passed as a bill to discontinue freedom of speech over the internet. This angers many people, especially the people from anonymous, an internet group who uses peaceful resistance to keep the internet essentially "free". Reddit  brings in a lot of revenue with advertisment and many companies will be losing a ton of money from the site sponsered black outs that keep occuring every so often.

Wikipedia to shut down

Wikipedia, an online website most known for its vast amounts of user-submitted and sourced information is going to shutdown for 24 hours in a strike against the SOPA wanting to be enacted by the government. SOPA, or Stop online privacy act is a very controversial bill that congress wants to pass restricting what people can or can not say on the internet, it will be taking away first ammendment rights for internet users. Online groups such as anonymous and website giants such as Reddit and Wikipediaare doing what they can to gain support to have the act turned down.

US Radar possibly downed Russian drone

A pacific coast radar system owned by the United States may have quite possibly caused the Russian Phobos-Grunt satillite/bot system to malfunction and lose connection with the Russian Space Communications Agency. An electromagnetic pulse, which was released by the Ameican Radar system may be the cause for the failed mars probe mission. The EMP wave may have disrupted all electronics in the PHobos-Grunt probe and caushed it to malfunction, it is under investigation and under going tests on the pieces that landed back on earth.

Iran to return Drone to U.S as a toy.

An Iranian manufacturing company is going to be returning the hijacked drone to the U.S in the form of a toy. The company planes on releasing toy look alikes of the captured setinal spy drone that is 1:80 of the actual size. They will be sold for about $4 US currency. This comes after the Obama administration has repeatedly asked for the drone to be returned but Iran has denied it because they claim it we as a hostile act and they have all the rights to hold onto the equipment.
